Not really. Even the independent Congressional Budget Office recognizes that Obamacare will suck more resources off the federal budget than was close to the original prediction. (For example, the plan spouted to the public neglected to figure in the costs of the thousands of federal bureaucrats required to approve all health care).

The political left believes that the unsustainable federal government debt can be passed on to the next generation. Hence, it's not their problem.
