I was wondering do you think the car has allot left and should a jump on it. It looks really good but I'm a little skeptic about the milage. What do you think ?

I have seen many towncars with over 600,000 miles on them... Before I bought mine, I asked a local limo service what goes wrong with them. They said at around 350,000 miles they have to replace the transmission and 550,000 they have to replace the engine. Only real other thing is the power window switches for the drivers door, you can buy those off ebay for 45 bucks.

I wouldnt hesitate to buy it, I picked up my 1998 towncar touring sedan a couple months ago and its been an amazing car. Just make sure to have a mechanic test it out both by looking underneath and by driving it before you buy.

it also depends on the price... I bought my 1998 towncar touring sedan with 120,000 miles on it for 900 bucks. It needed a drivers window switch and a used abs module(from junkyard) for certify which cost $200 bucks for parts total. I guess I was just lucky but make sure to look up the value on kbb.com . With 190,000 miles i wouldnt pay more than 1500-2000.

I'd be leery of the transmission mileage....
