I wouldn't mind if you bluntly asked as long as it's not in front of other people, especially ones I don't really know. I've also had straight guys ask if I have a girlfriend, and I just tell them I'm homo. It's not a big deal -- not to me, anyways. :)

There is no definitive answer; men you might 'think are gay' may not be, and men who you think aren't may be. I'm not saying you're prejudiced, but why do you think these guys are gay? Also, is it really necessary to know a man's orientation (unless you are yourself gay and are interested in which case you should definitely ask him).
