No it shouldn't. Assuming you're running Windows computers, the OS will automatically use the faster of the connections. Assuming your Ethernet (wired) connection is 100Mb/s and your wireless is approx. 54Mb/s, the system will use the wired connection by default until it's no longer available.

You will experience problems because you are asking the network cards to set a priority on the traffic.

You should choose one or the other. I disable the network connection I'm not using, currently the Lan connections.

Run a CAT5 line to make confident it is your connection. have you ever run undercover agent ware? what number products are on the start-up menu? cut back those you may spped up somewhat.
