Will being connected to wifi and Lan at the same time, on the same pc make the internet run slow or cause any other complications? We have been having speed issues on our internet and we are trying to fix it.

No it shouldn't. Assuming you're running Windows computers, the OS will automatically use the faster of the connections. Assuming your Ethernet (wired) connection is 100Mb/s and your wireless is approx. 54Mb/s, the system will use the wired connection by default until it's no longer available.

You will experience problems because you are asking the network cards to set a priority on the traffic.
You should choose one or the other. I disable the network connection I'm not using, currently the Lan connections.

Run a CAT5 line to make confident it is your connection. have you ever run undercover agent ware? what number products are on the start-up menu? cut back those you may spped up somewhat. Do you run anti-virus each and every of the time? you may favor to demonstrate it off see you later as your surfing internet content you recognize are threat-free.
