Pls i don't wanna make a mistake abt the Nokia N900?

i have been using a N900 as my primary "pocket computer" (i'll get tot that...) for the past two years

it is an astonishing device, but...

if you just want to have a (NOKIA) mobile phone, this is... like getting a Lincoln for the sake of getting a "Ford" vehicle...

the other issue is that NOKIA has discontinued the N900 quite some time ago and you will not find new ones anymore :(

it is a nice mobile phone on its own accord, but it is as a matter of fact a full fledged Linux computer in your pocked; if you don't feel like going down that avenue, you are probably better off sticking with Symbian.

Symbian has come a long way since the "burning hara-kiri" nearly two years ago.

alas, the name is so blemished now that hardly anybody cares about it anymore :(

i have a N8 (that i got in exchange for a N900 whose USB port broke under warranty) and i'm currently waiting for its successor (808 pureview) to be delivered. solely for the camera; the N900 will remain... my computer in my pocket :))

the N900 has a very nice camera with Carl Zeiss optics, but the technology that went into the N8 and 808 cameras simply outshine everything else :D

i also run Nitdroid (Android on NOKIA Internet Tablets) and based on the direct comparison...

the N8 simply is a class above Android and even though the platform will not get a new version, today it clearly is better then Android, even ICS.

add the unbeatable cameras to the mix and...
