Whenever I think about the fact that someday I’m gonna cease to exist and I try to find a line of thought in trying to come to terms with it, it just doesn’t work.

I can’t stop thinking about it and I can’t come to terms with it.

I’m always scared of how it will feel, what will happen, or what I might find or not find.

What’s even more depressing is the fact that one “MUST” exit this earth and there is “NO” exit route from earth unless through dying.

Has anyone overcome this fear of uncertainty ? If yes, how did you do it?

I mostly desire a girl, sometimes strongly sometimes lightly but, whenever I get closer to her and moving towards being in a relationship with her then I want it to end. Don’t get me wrong, I will do everything I can to make her happy and not feel uncomfortable in any way in the relationship but, I then just want her to go and so when the relationship ends, I feel some sense of relief. And when I see another girl I desire, the circle continues.

I’ve gotten my own share of heartbreaks though. But, all the relationship I’ve gotten into that didn’t break my heart, ended on the grounds of mutual understanding.

Anybody wanna share their thoughts about this?

I’m not referring to the hybrid.

The news is that Corolla is better than any car.

So I wanna know from people who have actually had experience of both brands to testify please. 

Generally, which one would be better? And how significant is the edge?

I could slide in Corolla 2008 in there too because the demand has made it almost the same price.

Could there ever be a time in the future where the human race would dump religious ideologies and personal interests to realize that loving one another and being unified could be the only thing that is stopping us from being gods?

Seems like would happen only ever in movies though but, just thinking if humans could evolve to that realization

Some people (especially those in the 3rd world countries) complain about the government's mismanagement of resources, bad governance, lack of consideration for the people etc.

And so, they all wanna move to some other country to find a “better” life but, when I watch the news I see the countries others are aspiring to go are also complaining about their government.

So, I’m just curious. Is there any country that it’s citizens are satisfied with how the government run the affairs of the country? Or is it just a human thing of needing to complain anyhow?

It’s not about morality though. But, music, movies, famous people, opinionated ideas etc.

Whenever this question is asked people tend to say it isn’t a question about ethics but, a biological necessity to procreate.

But, we can reason so, let’s use that too.

Of all the reasons that one chooses to have children, non of it is “for” the child, which is a selfish act. You decided for the child that it wants to be born, You don’t know if it would want to experience existence.

You don’t wanna be lonely,

You want someone to take care of you when you’re old,

You want someone to take care of because you feel your marriage would be boring if there aren’t etc.

It doesn’t matter how well and responsibly you train your child, environmental factors could still shape them to be what you never planned.

Wouldn’t it be better to let it be rather than gambling with the future of the child and risk bringing a sick child or one that might be unhappy (for whatever reason) and/or make others unhappy for the rest of its life.

Would I want the human race to cease?

What’s wrong if it does? (Shrugs)

We’re walking on mines anyways. One terrible disaster after another with each getting worse than the previous one.

I sure as hell wouldn’t wanna bring someone I love to experience this hell.

Leave religion out of this.

PS: I had a great childhood, have great parents and siblings, living a comfortable life. So, This isn’t about my quality of life or my upbringing but, reasoning.

I have my own emotional demons that’s why it isn’t always about wealth or quality of parenthood

First off all, I have OCD, but I’m not really sure what this is.

I forget so easily to the extent that when taking my bath, while washing the lather off my body I begin to question whether or not I have actually applied soap on my body or I am still in the first process of the bathing (and yea, I have actually applied it twice before. I couldn’t have known but, someone said I took longer than usual so I knew I did it twice).When driving whenever I take more than 2 turns on an unfamiliar road I would have to write it down, or else I’d forget how many rights and lefts I took if I drove like 500m more. Even on the roads I am familiar with. Sometimes I question if this is the the final exit, right exit or not. In short I am unsure of everything.Sometimes I even question if I am dreaming or awake. Especially when I’m in the bathroom. I begin to pee and then I pause, become aware of my surrounding to make sure it’s real and then continue. Whenever I plan a speech i won’t be able to remember half of the things I rehearsed, no matter how many times I rehearse. And even if I write it down I’d still forget how I planned the presentation. Unless I write down every bit of details regarding the presentation (including time to scratch my head)I’ve been wanting to ask the question here but, I always forget.I play games but, I repeat the same mistake with “every” game I play that’s getting me killed because I don’t remember to effect the corrections.What is this condition please?

I squeeze my toes, clench my teeth together or tap on the table repeatedly until it gives me a rythmic satisfaction. Sometimes when I m working, I do the ritual with the way I walk - with the tappings of my feet on the ground.

Most times when I have a song or sound playing in my head I take the last second of the sound or the song to imitate it with my taps or toe squeeze or teeth clenching until my brain interprets it as having the same rhythm with the sound. If I don t get it I keep doing it for up to a minute until I get it. and after I ve gotten it I start again. It goes on like that for the whole day. Until I make a conscious effort to control it, which won t still last for long.

i can't immergine a kid or son/daughter telling their parents "i hate u". Or askin... "dad are u crazy" or "mum, i got my own life to live" or "mom, u r so selfish"...etc i can't just understand why american sons/daughters don't have a single respect for their parents. Ur mum carried u for 9 fcukin months, breastfed u, they took u to school, and now u tellin them to go fcuk themselves... Its not right at all. Thats why i like African kids, they have strong respect for not only parents even elders. An american child pierces their a$s, teeth, tongue, whateva... And when their parents talk, they say its their life... How can they be so stupid? When d parents push, they sue them, and the stupid, evil, immoral american or whreva, law takes it up, cuz they hav nothin better to do, thats so disgusting. Is it that americans naturally have a very low moral state of mind, or its because their parents spare them the rod and spoil 'em?

jude law is the main actor in the movie... Towards the end of the movie he met a girl at a train station when he was about to leave... And then he taught of when he was a kid, he and his father went to visit a family friend and he saw a little girl and told his father that "he's gonna marry her" and the father replied, "there are better ways to get women".

I'm very creative, i just need to see how something is done and i can be more than who showed it to me, i see solutions even before the problems occur in the real world, a critical, deep thinker, introvert, in short i can do or be anything, BUT the problem is no matter how HARD i try in academics in school i can only get an average mark (just the C's not da A's & B's). Would you say i got a low IQ, or not intelligent? (considering what am capable of)

1. What is d best and fastest way to learn programming (e.g java, c++, c)? Is it by takin classes or downloading books & tuts on net alone?

2. Can i b a good productive programmer in a year?

Iif downloading books and tuits on net is d best way... What books do y'all recommend for a beginner like me? i got an idea abt java tho'

Pls help me, am tired of askin mummy for money to get a hair cut...
