endometriosis / cancer?

I am not a medical professional, so consider this accordingly. You might consider discussing this with your OBGYN. You need more information than what is given here to weigh the consequences of different treatment approaches. A hysterectomy is probably the safest treatment, but maybe the cancer could be treated by chemotherapy or hormone therapy, or if it takes a long time to advance, maybe it doesn't even need to be treated at all. I suspect that a hysterectomy is the only practical treatment.

You can't predict with any accuracy how quickly the cells might spread, but it commonly takes about 5 years before the cells advance from stage 0 to the point where they start to invade the uterus and develop tumors. However, the time for any given individual could be much shorter or longer. There might not be much risk in monitoring this for a year to see what happens, but you might not gain any information that will make your decision any easier.

Discuss with your doc the pros and cons of monitoring the cells, undergoing a treatment other than a hysterectomy, and if there is anything to be gained by postponing treatment.
