Computer Gaming Troubles (Low Frames per Second)?

Here are my specs

Processor AMD Phenom(tm) 9100e Quad-Core Processor

Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB

Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6570

Gaming graphics 4863 MB Total available graphics memory

Primary hard disk 537GB Free (596GB Total)

Trying to run certain games such as Diablo and Guild Wars I have terribly low FPS I know I've asked this a couple times but would like to get multiple opinions before I buy something. So I don't buy something that won't even help me. I've been told the problem is my graphics card but I'm not a very computer savvy person so if that is my problem what is a card you would recommend that will run on decent settings and isn't too expensive?

Also if that's not the problem what might be? Greatly appreciated. Thanks

First... your HDD is almost full.. which is bad...

Second.. update your graphics card drivers and see if it solves the issue..

If it doesn't, get a new graphics card.

Well, I'll tell you this much. It's not your processor, your memory, or your HDD. I looked up the video card, and to put it bluntly you get what you paid for. The video card isn't really meant to get high FPS with good graphics. My only advice is that you lower your graphics settings down a few notches or buy a new graphics card.

    EDIT:

Yeah, whoops, the processor is most definitely an issue too. You're going to want something that can go over 1.8 GHz. A decent processor tends to be the price of a low end video card though. You don't have to go out and buy the $200+ processors,

That's a pretty good processor for the price. It's only dual core but again like the other guy said it'll be fine for most games.

People seem to have trouble reading lol

his hdd is empty... he has 537GB of free space... that means hes only used 59GB lol

And he says it clearly "Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6570"

    jesus christ people...

I want you to know, graphic memory has NOTHING to do with performance. Literally nothing.

You have a 6570, that is a low end graphics card, even with 100TB of video memory, its still a PoS.

It depends on what resolution you are playing at. If you play at 1920x1080, you should be able to play games on low settings without much or any lag. (if you play at higher then 1920x1080 or use multi monitors, that is your problem).

You will not be able to play on really anything above lower settings at 1920x1080. If you play at a lower resolution, you may be able to push out med settings with good fps.

For gaming you probably want to look at something like a 6770/7770 or better.

Also your cpu is pretty weak, its only 1.8ghz. Its a quad core, but games only use 2 cores regardless if you have more then 2 or not. Its also a pretty old cpu.

You can buy an amd A4 dual core and it would likely outperform your current cpu in gaming (as its based on much more efficient architecture).

Of direction the trouble is desktop heating. Traditionally laptops will not be meant for gaming functions. So when the process heats the sport efficiency drops down. If you are getting best fps for an hour or so, i might say that is the first-class you could get from a G61. If you're fascinated with playing games get a laptop that you can get extra vigour from a laptop than a laptop. In case of computing device, are attempting getting a computing device cooler (they're very low priced) and spot if that helps.

You have an old CPU (early 2008) and a very low end graphics card. That is why.

Try lowering your settings. Updating your graphics card isnt going to help because it would just be bottlenecked by that old processor.

what graphics card do you have? not it's memory the actual card!

if the card is below £100 it isn't designed for games its designed for HD play back.

if it's 100-200 it is low end and 300+ is high end.
