Is this for real? Barack Obama as Jesus Christ?

Checking out the vendors that popped up in and around the Democratic National Convention (DNC), delegates and visitors were treated to a host of left-wing paraphernalia. One vendor, in particular, sold "posters and artwork depicting President Obama as Jesus Christ." Have these people completely lost their minds?

One poster features an image of the president in prayer with the headline, "Prophecy Fulfilled."

"Barak is of Hebrew origin and its meaning is 'flash of lightning," the poster notes, referencing a passage in in the Old Testament book of Judges.

Hussein, they allege, is a Biblical word meaning "good and handsome."

"So you see, Barak was destined to be a good and handsome man that would rise like a flash of lightning to win victory in a battle against overwhelming odds," the poster read.

Todd Starnes of Fox News goes on to report that "an Obama calendar, obtained by Fox News, features two religious images of the Commander-in-Chief." Is this some kind of joke?

The month of August includes a photograph of Obama's birth certificate with the words "Heaven sent."

The president was born on Aug. 4th.

The entry also includes a photograph of Obama along with a passage of Scripture from the New Testament.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life," the entry read -- referencing John 3:16.

The month of November includes an image of individuals with their hands on Obama's back -- with the words "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want."

There is even a video which promotes the calendar. Watch it... if you are brave enough.



It's time for Barack Obama to get over himself and for his followers to get a life.

there is no comparison between obama and Jesus the Christ. none. the dems may be doing this to mock Jesus or to try to influence ignorant people that obama is of God... he is so anti God of the bible that he couldnt be further away.

Jesus would almost surely condemn Obama as a hypocrite corrupting his message. Jesus was once now not a politician, and didn't have much to say on the ruling authorities of his time. However the fact that Obama identifies as a Christian would on the whole perturb Jesus very so much. Obama's willingness to kill foreign kids with drone strikes, his wealth and political power, and his approval of homosexuals (Jesus used to be born and raised in a culture where male/male anal sex was punishable via loss of life--if he didn't see homosexuals of precious of loss of life himself, he undoubtedly noticed them as sinners) would all be counts in opposition to him. I do not consider Jesus could care much less about the healthcare thing; it is so far-removed from any notion that will were central for the period of his lifetime that he would have a tough time figuring out what was so best about it.

So some vendor is selling stuff and it is Obama's fault?  Sounds like you have a perception problem. I see all kinds of stuff hawked all over-- look how much Elvis stuff is for sale.  Is that Elvis's fault? Would be according to your rules.
