How much does prom cost?

It really depends on what your school wants. Here are some things to consider:

1. Do you want a DJ or a band? (DJs are often less expensive, but it can be difficult to find a good one)

2. Does your school want it to be held at the school, or do they want it at a separate venue (it is MUCH cheaper to hold a prom at your own school).

3. Do you want elaborate decorations, or are just streamers and balloons fine?

4. Most proms have a photographer that the school hires to take your picture.

5. Most proms also include a meal, so where you get catered from really effects the budget.

The price will vary how your school decides to handle these things, but a lot of the cost is generally paid for through people buying tickets (which are normally around 50 dollars each). Proms generally cost thousands to tens of thousands of dollars, but most of this should be covered by ticket sales and fundraising.

I failed to go.Then again neither did half of the graduating pupils.I went to an arts high tuition and it wasn't a giant thing then.I know folks that did go and so they said for what they paid it used to be overestimated.It was once a dinner/dance cruise on the Ottawa river.It used to be a lifestyle right here for the reason that the river is the boundary between Ontario and Quebec.On the Ontario part the legal age to drink is nineteen on the Quebec aspect it's 18.So the boat is consistently on the Quebec aspect.The tickets have been $90(ish) and you got 2 free drink tickets for alcohol(sodas,juices and water had been free) your meal(soup,salad,major path,barren region) after which dancing unless 12:30am.If you happen to wanted more than your two drinks it used to be a money bar which used to be rather luxurious virtually $7 for a beer(in 1994 which used to be when this was once you could get a 24 for like $25).
