I have loads of winrar files i did not put on my PC. Most are named DEC2006_d3dx9_32_x86 etc. are they useful?

They have been there for months now cluttering up my system under my user file. The first is dxupdate, second dxdllreg_x86, third Mar2009_d3dx9_41_x64 and last Apr2006_xinput_x86. Apart from the first 2 I can see no particular order. 154 files in total. have a Dell PC running vista. Please please help?

    DELETE THEM THEY ARE UPDATES!

    sounds like direct X update files..

    right click on the file and press properties and a tab at the top

    should say what it is.
