    1) Switch shampoos. Switching up can help a lot.

    2) Try baking soda! Bring a handful or two into the shower with you, and wash your hair with it.

    3) Use a conditioner made for oily hair, or don't use one at all for a while.

    4) Pay attention to your diet. What you eat affects your WHOLE body, even your hair. Lay off greasy/oily foods, get enough protein, and take a multivitamin.

    5) Check your environment. When was the last time you washed your pillow and pillow case? If it's been months, your hair is getting greased up every night! Also check your house for smoke/smells that can make your hair gross. I went to London once-- the smog in that city made my hair disgusting.

You can mix baking soda in your shampoo! That always helps! Dont shower everyday because than your natural oils will go into a frenzy creating grease like mad! You can also use dry shampoo :)

Hair is also a nonessential part of your body, so if your sick your body is going to be fighting off the germs, not fixing your hair (just an example) so make sure your healthy

My friend has the same problem. She told me that when she washes her hair, she shampoos it BEFORE getting it wet, then rinses and dries as usual. Also, if you condition your hair make sure you are only concentrating it on your ends, not on your roots.

Another thing that I have found to be useful (like if I wake up late with no time to wash my hair) is baby powder or dry shampoo. Put some ob your roots and massage into your hair and brush out. It should help absorb the oil.

Go out a buy sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. A couple of top brands make that formulation.
