Can you join the airforce at 34 with a Graduate degree?

    it would depend on how much in demand the degree is.

    If you are an MD- they may let it slide.

    Usually the enlistment (not sure on officer age but I believe it is higher) is 29. However it isn't condemning as the military does grant waivers (exceptions) for individuals they believe are still military able and useful. But with the AF I doubt they will grant it, they are pretty overpopulated and even laying off people and they also have way to many officers. However there is still the other branches, if you want a more desk like job than field job like you would get in the AF then try the Navy. There is also the Marines, they are looking for both more officers and women (however they are a pretty heavy on combat/field jobs). But if You still want to join the military then go for it, wouldn't hurt to at least try.

    Enlisted no. Officer, yes, but you must be commissioned before 35, and if you`re currently 34, you wouldn`t be commissioned in time. Sorry.
