can i take my retainer out for school?
ive been wearing it religiously 24/7 since july 18th and school started 2 days ago. anyone else take theirs out for the short 7 hours of school and put it in when its over? anyone else with any experience or knowledge if its ok to do? im sure 7 hours of not wearing it wont matter

You would be surprised how little your teeth have to move before your retainer won't fit and how quickly they move. It may not be noticeable to you until you try your retainer and it won't go on or it does and your teeth hurt from the pressure of moving them back. What is worse wearing your retainer at school or screwing up your perfect smile and needing braces again?? It happens.
