Aquarium filtration help?

I have a 30 liter aquarium, how many liters per hour should the filter turn over?

    The filter packages typically come with the recommended aquarium size. But it is very much recommended that you take the size of you aquarium, times that by 10 and then that is about the flow rate you want to be running your aquarium with.

    Ex-

    30L x 10 = 300L/Hour

    Just get a filter rated for 10 or 20 or 30 gallons.

    the gallons/liters per hour flow rate should be about 8 times the tank volume approximately.

    also you should find a filter with good biologic filtration.

    One the box it will say suitable for a however many liter aquarium! Buy one larger than your aquarium though say 40 liters
