Ask him if there is anything that he needs or would like a replacement of. Guys are really hard to buy for. Take him to a video game store and let him pick out what game he wants and buy it for him. Another idea would be to take him out to a birthday lunch or dinner, your treat. If you are sexually active with him, go to a shop and get yourself some sexy lingerie to wear for him the night of his birthday. Maybe stop at a sex shop and pick out some fun toys to add some extra spice to the night.

Since you say he has everything he needs, give him something a little more personal. this year for my bf's b day i got him a box filled with balloons and filled each one with sweet notes and pictures of us. i taped a needle to the box and he popped each balloon to find what was inside it was a lot of fun.and I bought him a watch that I hid at the bottom of box so after all the balloon popping he got his watch :) bake him a cake. make him some dinner..
