Scanning mares to check for pregnancy?

How soon can mares be checked to see if they are in foal? We have two mares that have been running with the stallion- how soon can they be scanned? One is a maiden mare and the other has previously had foals.

ALSO- The one who has previously been had foals has been with a stallion from April-May and has shown signs of been in season twice since.. Both times she was put back with a stallion. Is it possible a mare could show signs of being in season but be in foal anyway?

A mare can be scanned 15 days post cover.

I would get them scanned asap, it may even be too late. A mare should be scanned early for twins, 21 days could be too late. The later into a pregnancy the harder to separate twins for pinching.

And yes they can still show signs, right through a pregnancy.

a mare in foal will not stand for a stallion you can have your mares tested 3 weeks after being covered by the stallion and if barren put back to the stallion

we've mares scanned each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. they have 2 scans each. we've under no circumstances lost a foal yet. you are able to purchase a urine try kit on-line. you gained't understand in case your mare is in twin. and ought to lose all 3. edit. I have spoken to our vet in view that i revealed my answer. he reported a experiment gained't effect in a mare dropping her foal.
