Two mares I have have been with 2 seperate stallions, one has been there half a year nearly and still shows sign of being in season every so often. The other has been put to the stallion when showing signs of season but neither stand! They haven't been scanned yet because each time they show signs of being in season so it is persumed they aren't in foal.

My question is, WHY do they do this? Surely they will have gotten in foal by now? When both stallions try to mount them, they both just kick out and will not stand! Do some mares show signs of being in season despite been in foal? One mare has had previous foals but the other is a maiden. One stallion has had a batch of foals every year so should the mares both go to be scanned because they may be in foal despite 'being in season'?

My mini Dachshund was stepped on by a big heavy horse, I feared the worse, she was xrayed at the vets and she is believed to have a dislocated hip and her back (hopefully) is fine. They're currently popping it back in place under anesthetic, hopefully she will be ok. :(

Has anyone had any experience of this?what will happen& What can I do to help her recovery? Thankyou.

I broke my wrist 12 years ago when I was younger, and everytime it is cold out, my wrist aches so much down the very side I smashed it on and broke it. Why does this happen? Is there any way I can minimise the ache the cold weather causes it? It also clicks a lot when I move it, why is this?

My boyfriend and I were opening a new condom to have sex, I held it up to the light to check for damage or holes and thought I saw one. To be safe, we opened a new one.

After we'd had sex with the new condom, I looked at the other again and made a purpose hole in it to see what a holed condom looks like. Using a drawing pin- several holes were made in the useless condom and to my horror when I held it up to the light, the holes weren't visible!

I'm shocked that this happened, I'd have thought they would be clear as day. My worry now is any condom I use, even if it looks fine, still could have minute holes in?

The condoms were in date& of Durex make.

They are meant to be 98% safe but how can they be so safe when you can't even see purposeley made holes in them!?

I'd like to lose around 2 stone by next year, and I know exercise is important, but I struggle to know what are the best foods to eat when trying to lose weight?

I drink green tea, it that any good for fat burning also?

I prefer veg over fruit and I do not like fish. So what foods could I eat to lose weight? Thanks.

I'm 18 and started driving at the end of August this year, and I've had ten lessons to date. My instructor said I am progressing well and I'm doing good to say I've only had 10 lessons. I feel like I'm improving but still make errors, I am wondering if I'm behind, or how many lessons did it take people to pass/be ready for their test?

I'm 18 and female and I usually enjoy meals. Lately though, I've been finding myself not wanting to eat... I've never really been hungry on a morning anyway but I feel sick and my stomach rumbles on a morning and I know I'm probably hungry but just the thought of food makes me feel queasy.

For dinner I can never finish my bowl of soup anymore, I feel so full.

& evening meals I can never finish either, whereas I used to always eat it all. I don't look forward to meals anymore! I couldn't even stomach one of my favourite meals last week- I found it awful!

I am not underweight at all, and I'm not very overweight either. I'm quite confused how I can't eat that much without feeling sick or put off.

Since Wednesday I felt really cold and my throat was killing. Days before this I had been feeling really tired and getting chest pains in my left side.

I drank a lemsip max on the Wednesday night and the next morning I felt worse. My nose is SO blocked, all my sinuses feel blocked, and no matter how much I blow my nose, I still can't breathe! I am constantly sneezing, and when I blow my nose I get the worst headache in between the brow.

My symptoms are: feeling cold, headache, sore throat (which has eased off), very tender neck glands, lethargic feeling, blocked/runny nose, tiredness, rusty breathing, a little dizziness, feeling quite warm to touch, tickly mouth, sneezing a lot, and last night during the night, I kept waking feeling my throat was drying out and I could barely breathe... I had frequent drinks to try and lessen the dryness but nothing worked. I woke up this morning nearly being sick because of the dryness in my throat!

Is this just a common cold or do you believe it to be worse?

I'm 18 years old and female, I have experienced a pain in the left side of my chest under the breast area which I feel as though is where the heart is yet I'm probably wrong- I have had these pains in that same area for most of my life. I only ever used to get them very rarely however more frequently lately and over this past week, I've had the pain at least once every day.

The pain seems to come when I laugh quite a lot, and indraw breath sharply- to the point where the pain makes me worried so I dare not breath deeply. The pain makes me gasp it is quite painful. The reason I'm worried is due to the location of the pain.

I'm just curious as to what it may be and if it is serious? It NEVER hurts when I exercise only when I laugh or draw breath deeply. Sometimes I feel I NEED to draw a deep breath to be able to breathe.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be? Thanks in advance.

I've been with my boyfriend for a year and a half,both now 18, he was always very nice&we got on well. over the past 3 months or so, things have got bad. He's always been quite a jealous person and what I'd say (and my friends and some other people) controlling- he wanted me to cut all contact with any guy friend I had and to delete them in my phone etc. So I did, thinking I'd be respecting him as I thought he was worth it.

One night I was texting him, he said he was at home doing "nothing much" and I later found out he had gone out drinking with his friend! (This is at 17 btw) why did he not tell me!? I confronted him- I was angry! Why would he lie! I hate liars. To me lying means you have done something wrong or don't want to get found out...

On my 18th birthday one of my friends asked to go out drinking in town, I thought I'd mention this to him and he was like "no I don't want you going!" So I didn't go with her.

Anyway, as soon as he turned 18 ALL the 'rules' he'd almost put in line that applied to me- didn't apply to him! He started saying he wants to go out drinking and I can't stop him- yet he is quite ok to do this to me!? I just want fairness in the relationship.

He says things and makes me feel absolutely worthless sometimes, I feel like his object not his girlfriend.

He'd asked to see me after not seeing each other for a while and I said yes, but had other things on that day too but I couldve seen him too... Anyway he told me he was off out with his friend instead- I was quite annoyed- he'd asked to see me, and it was arranged!

He stopped texting me for 3 days after that. I ended up texting him saying how I felt and why did he ignore me for 3 days- he started saying things- I told him it's his loss and he claimed it wasn't. Then started telling me he misses me and loves me- I then said I don't want him back as it clearly doesn't work. I then found out he'd been out all night drinking- which he would DETEST me doing!

Is this guy worth it?

I'm due to start university very soon (in the UK) and I'm very worried. I'm a shy person and I'm really worried about going to the point where I'm dreading it.

I want to meet new people, gain new friends etc, but I'm not the most outgoing person so I find this a little difficult sometimes.

Could anyone give any tips/advice to help me look forward to the experience, or how to deal with it better?

How soon can mares be checked to see if they are in foal? We have two mares that have been running with the stallion- how soon can they be scanned? One is a maiden mare and the other has previously had foals.

ALSO- The one who has previously been had foals has been with a stallion from April-May and has shown signs of been in season twice since.. Both times she was put back with a stallion. Is it possible a mare could show signs of being in season but be in foal anyway?

Ok so I've had my Blackberry curve 9300 for just over a year, it has been ok apart from the scroller scrolls when I am texting sometimes when I don't want it to!

Anyway over the past week, my phone has been freezing and always bringing up the little timer clock and then being fine again. When I am asleep I switch my phone off, even on 50% battery when I wake up my phone won't turn back on so it only works when I charge it!

It is so annoying, it has never had any of these issues before!

I know everyone says Blackberry aren't good and break, but this has been fine up until recently!

Also the phone gets quite hot, so I wonder if the battery needs replacing as it dies quite fast during the day now?

She is an angel when in the house, she is lovely and so friendly with my family who live with her and she also loves my boyfriend but anyone else, she absolutely hates! She won't let anyone past the gate, she tries to nip the milkman. She goes out at least once a day, usually twice and when she is out all she does is bark at other dogs! She hates them. She will not let any other person stroke her and is very standoffish which is typical of their nature. I do not like to leave her on the lead because she loves to go off and play but she sometimes nips other dogs and it's unacceptable. I think maybe it is a fear thing she has. She lives with our other dog and absolutely loves her! Is there any way I can stop her from barking all of the time whilst we're out?
