Is being dead considered a disability?

I was just commenting on how my employer would probably hire anyone with a pulse, then I realised that this would exclude vampires, zombies, trolls, golems and any number of inorganic or dead people.

My question is would this be disability discrimination or would it be racial discrimination?

I personally know at least 1/2 dozen people who would probably be better workers if they were dead..... or at least have enhanced productivity and few complaints about inter personal issues.

Vampires, zombies, trolls, etc. would not be considered "human"...and therefore not entitled to legal protections afforded to people.

Which is a good thing...otherwise think of all the lawsuits squirrels would be filing right now, cos they NEVER get the job.

Discrimination laws only apply to HUMANS. They no more apply to vampires than they do to pitbulls or scorpions.

Humans are "homo sapiens" as a species. We have different races just as dogs have different breeds. It can't be racial discrimination if you're not even the right species.

The dead can work. You should see how many dead people come back to life at quitting time.

The dead are available to work, but usually only on graveyard shift.

Have more answers, but have to go to work. We are doing a big voter registration project at the local cemetery this afternoon.

It's understandable. I mean vampires have limited work hours, zombies can't speak properly (all they do is grunt), and besides, a dead person is dead. There's no assurance that that person won't be decomposed or decayed before the next shift starts...

well he obviously hired you with your current state of being a troll (which is under your list of the living dead or those without a pulse)

It is by Democrats. It is also considered okay for voting.
