Why would middle class Republicans vote for increasing their taxes?

because they don't understand that they are really voting against what is good for them

I would argue that while George Will identifies himself as a conservative he is far more centrist then he would be willing to admit.

Romney's tax plan as it has been outlined does not raise taxes on the middle class.

romney is cutting the rich taxes (go figure) and his plan ADDS $6000 to middle class families who have kids

Let me see.......the risk of a tax increase with Romney versus 30 million unemployed under Obama. Gee, I really don't know.

Increase taxes and cut programs.

Lowers the national debt.

The USD is worth more money.

Therefore in the long run your money may be worth more.

Because, for middle class Republican voters, the only alternative is voting for a black man.

to save America from debt. I'd sacrifice towards that end if everyone else did too.
