    1. To start Control Panel:

    Go To Start -> Run -> Type Control -> OK/Enter

    OR

    2. To start Add/Remove Programs:

    Go to Start -> Run -> Type Appwiz.cpl -> OK/Enter

    OR

    3. Start in Safe Mode by restarting the PC and pressing F8 for the Advanced Startup Menu -> Select Safe Mode.

    Once Safe Mode has started choose to run System Restore.

    Restore your PC to a time before you installed Webroot and Spysweeper.

    4. If you think you have a virus then:

    Restart the computer,

    Tap F8 while it's starting up,

    You'll get a menu, scroll down to "last known gods configuration that worked" and press enter.

    When your computer restarts, see if anything changed.

    It's possibly a virus. Do a virus scan.

    You can download CCleaner from filehippo.com

    And run the registry tool to fix issues.

    It also has a cleanup utility that cleans up more files and more quickly than the one on windows already,

    You may actually have a virus. This prevents you from going into restore to mess up the virus's operations. Do you have a good antivirus program running? If not I suggest Norton NIS.
