Ik it says bob but I'm a girl. I just started dating this guy. He is super sweet and nice and funny but he is black. My parents don't want me dating him cuz they think it's too soon and that I will have a reputation. I really don't care cuz I really like him. My mom is the same way she doesnt want me dating anyone black, hispanic, or asian. She only wants me dating white people. Im in 9th grade too, and i recently started dating a guy from Venezuela. Just sit your parents down and explain that in todays world dating a black guy isnt goin to hurt your reputation. explain that you really like him and you would like to be able to choose who you date based on the person inside, not how they act on the outside. Keep persevering sister, you'll get through to them! :) i dodnt give up and now my parents accept whoever i choose to date. Good luck, and have a wonderdul romance!!
