What type of transmission fluid does a 1952 Studebaker Commander V8 with an automatic use?

I just got my old Studebaker running and want to service the transmission but I need to know what fluid type to use.

Thanks

Update:

I picked this car up a month ago in non running condition. It took me about 20 minutes to get it running and took it for a drive yesterday (about 10 miles) and would like to continue repairing the car.

Back in 1952, Studebaker used straight 10w oil in their automatics. Now a days, you can run Dextron for a smooth shift or Type F for a firm shift. The Stude auto was more or less a Ford transmission so I would recommend type F fluid.
