What tackle box('s) or bag('s) Do you carry/own?

Skip to the last 2 paragraphs to get to the Q directly

I became curious to know... what do other people carry? What are their reasons? Obviously not everyone thinks the same when it comes to carrying their gear and sometimes certain situations require an improved (more specifically tailored bag or box) so say somone fishes saltwater... I would guess waterproof utility trays would be usefull as for your lures not to erode or rust.

I carry the bag I do (And the box I'm going to receive soon) For a few reasons. I need a fair amount of room without having 5 tackle boxes or bags... Carries alot with less space, and has a place for everything (Organized)

My tackle bag has quite a fair amount of room, and even I can literally carry everything I need with me for plastics. Not a million different compartments I'll never use. Seperated tool storage and scent storage as well as a specific place for the scale. A pouch for soft plastic bags, so insteead of cluttering my boxes with a bunch of different size baits, keep the basic (Normal) Size baits in the boxes and a decent enough color variation and assortment. Then a few bags of different sizes of the same thing (Like carrying the super fluke jr, and the larger sized brush hog)

So what do you guys carry, and what are your specific reasons for having chosen those bags or boxes?

Thanks guys!

Hmmm... Well growing up with 2 sisters each 10 years older then me shopping, even for fishing gear drives me crazy. I can NOT stand shopping with anyone of any gender unless Im purchasing the item that I planned on getting.

I personally grabed the first box I found in my garage. Its a tacklebag with 4 shelfs and zippers. Its perfect in my situation as I typically do lots of hiking and need something comfortable or Im on a boat and want something I can just drag around.

My tacklebox is such a mess but it has the basics.

Im a pretty simple fisherman. I dont really carry much. At most 2 rods.

Its a plano bag though. Not sure which model. It gets the job done good.

Source(s): Shopping is my true hatred...that and crustasions. Unless theres a craw or something on my hook and a big smallmouth looking for a meal.

If I'm fishing on my own, I'll load Plano boxes into my school backpack... mostly worms, but some topwater baits.

If it's my dad and I, we'll throw a couple tackle bags in the car. I'm not sure what brand the bags are, but the bigger red one has 8 boxes made by Arapaho or something like that. The smaller bag has smaller Plano boxes.

I saw someone with a backpack fishing. So I bought one specifically for fishing. I'm pretty sure I got it in the hiking section of Walmart. When I go fishing I ride a bike to the lakes rivers. So carrying something like a box would prove to be difficult. I also keep my poles in it. Unless I use the kind that don't break down in half

Coleman max backpack, it has a water bladder with a tube so I can easily drink water, this bad is prefect since I mostly go bank fishing.
