I consider myself abit erm... different from most bass anglers. Though not really an angler till recently. Well it started when I was like 5 yrs old, my big bro showed me his video game on the now outdated home console the N64. Goldeneye 64 (Trigger happy James bond) After being introduced to VGames a certain one caught my eye, Reel Fishing PS. Increasingly over those years I got a collection of em. The fishing games (Most, Some were arcadish) contained several fishing factors teqniques ETC, and alot of fish facts mostly black bass. Checking all this info for truth I now find I am Armed with an array of Bass fishing knowledge inscribed to my mind from years of playing. I now attempt to tame the most widespread fish in the world, the Large-Mouth bass. Update/Edit Section:

  • if someone faces the same situation several times and does not remember, will their choices be different?

Say a person is put through an exact moment over and over again, but does not have recollection of the previous times. The exact same scenario in every way, and a choice is to be made in that scenario. Every time the situation repeats, the person has to come up with a solution to their situation, do they not? So each time they choose, could the outcome not be different? Even without prior knowledge of having been in this scenario?

  • How many dogs/cats are adopted each year, vs being purchased each year?

I m doing a Persuasive Essay about adoption vs purchase/breeding. But I need some valid and trusted statistics about the amount of dogs and cats purchased, so I may compare it to the amount of dogs and cats adopted per year. But I can t find valid information about either one.

If anyone has a link to a .org type site, which has reliable information about these statistics, I d greatly appreciate it

  • What colors are true single pigment?

I'm looking for watercolor supplies, and I want a true, or at least closest to true and single pigmented blue and red. Most that I'm coming across for red have either an orange or blue bias, or for the blue most have a red or green bias. But what's a very close single pigment "True" of these colors? I was considering Antwerp, and cadmium. But I'm not sure, it's not as if the brand (Lukas) I'm looking at gives me a detailed explanation of the color.

    Thank you!

  • How to glue fabric to hard plastic?

I have a game case that's hard plastic for my 3DS, but I feel like if I put the 3DS inside without a smooth surface it would scratch it on the sides. I never had this problem with my GBA SP because I had a case that's sorta... inbetween hard and soft plastic, shock resistant too. Anyway, a thin soft plastic would only protect from scratches, so the hard case seemed a better choice

I want to cut a piece of soft cloth or something to fit to size, and affix it to the bottom and sides of the case so it won't scratch when going in or out. What kind of glue would I use for this? And how would I go about it?

    Thank you!

  • Windows movie maker finalization process?

I loaded and inserted a video into windows movie maker, the only thing I did was add music in the specified slot so it would be there with the video and I could finalize it and the video and added audio would be there. I finalized the product, but only the audio came out. There was audio already on the video, I just added music with it. Both the added audio and the audio already on the video was there, but there was no video at all. The audio played fine, but the final product had no video. Did I do something wrong? Is there a special thing I have to do to put both audio and video in the final product?

    Thanks

Yes I opened it in 3 different programs all of which should support audio. None of them have video, but all of them have the audio added in movie maker, and the audio originally on the video.

  • Do you guys get exited Just by looking at bait jars... worm bags and hardbait packages?

Me and my latenight antics... Asking Q's on yahoo Hah ha!

Ah boy anywho, I noticed. I just look at a pack of roboworms, start examining the translucent colors on a hardbait, or stare at a half empty jar of salmon eggs, and it makes me exited and happy.

I sound like a freak I know... But, does anyone else feel that? I guess that's it then.

Look forward to answers, read you all in abit!

  • The NAFC is BUGGIN me!!?

First of all, I'd like to say I am glad to be back! And I hope I am welcome back. I really really missed posting! And seeing all your posts too. I missed you guys, and I'm happy to be here! Now here is the kink in the road of life I see ahead. The NAFC is bugging!!

That's right folks get YOUR FREE Welcome aboard gifts are rattlin rapala lure, $20 in gas rebates AND the fishermans weigh and fillet set!

Guess what I say to that?! Hell no! I allready know this club is a load. Just their writing style tells them off, aside from that I've read so many answers on here with negative feelings toward them.. Why would I be stupid enough to try?

But guess what?! I'm keeping the bass car decal (Throwing out the one that says NAFC) The lisence holder (Even though it looks flimsy) I'm keeping these field test stamps AND the cool looking holo card with my name on it... Why? JUST FOR KICKS! cause... Its FREE, FREE FREE!!!!

Now I suppose my real question is, how do I get these bastards off my back? They say (If you dont respond in 10 days, we will have to give it to another nominee!) But they allready sent two of them! (The previous ones were with no free junk) and this new one I got today with the junk in it. How do I send them to hell?! Thanks guys!

  • Would you talk to an old elementary school Friend who hasn't been in contact in 10+ years?

I recently started remembering my old freinds from elementary, perhaps it's abit late. I wan't to contact them again, but even I knew their phone numbers, would they speak to me?... Theres no exuse for not speaking to somone for that long, even if you were 7 year olds.

I guess my question is, would you? I really feel I miss them, I'd like to get to know them again. Would they speak to me? Could we be friends again even after so long? Thanks!

  • About enough... About my Pyramid Q... About his answers.?

I suppose my stupidity in wording let itself burst. I guess, I just wanted to try and say something nice... But I ended up screwing it up anyway. So I'm typing this 'Letter" just to be more care full in wording, and not limited in space.

I guess just to finalize, you went out of your way to make an awesome answer for me... And I wanted to let you know just a last time. I owe you a debt of gratitude. I suppose... The best thing I can do to show gratitude, is simply say thank you... so,--

Thank you very much for the time you spent on such an answer, for building up details to such an extreme that I can do better in the lake I asked about... To put so much effort in it, just so I could understand the lakes better. I may have only asked which is better for large mouth, and which has a better shoreline, but you went to such extremes as to add what you use there. you even added in specific details of the lake structure.

In short before you grow tired of such a rant, I appreciate such a dedicated and carefully done answer. It Truly was the type of answer I'd expect that old... Oh how did you call him, "wormisher, wormizer, wormist" An older version of yourself... in a better sense what I mean is, an answer from someone from when people on this forum cared about the asker enough to try and really help him out. And you did just that.

Thanks again Enuf, for really trying to help me out when I was in a pinch.

Oh by the way... You know how GMB's Always giving me the Business about not emailing anyone about this type of Q (Above)... I do block emails, so it's neither your nor GMB's fault. I don't plan to change that, so please excuse me for putting my "Letter" Up in a more public manner.

  • Which is better Lake Pyramid or Piru: Ca?

I can't find much information on either... I'd just like to switch it up apart from casitas or castaic or cachuma you know?...

Anyway, no... Just in case your thinking. I'm not sniffing around for secret spots, nor anything of that is of nature. (You should likely know me better than THAT by now guys...) Just which (If you've fished it) You would most likely go to for largemouth?... Also, abit more important to me... Which has a more accsessible shoreline? Like how I'd rather fish the shoreline of cachuma over casitas.

Thanks guys... Please try to answer all the parts of the Q!

  • Do you guys seperate your topwater frogs from other topwater baits?

I keep my frogs in a seperate 3500 box... As opposed to with my other topwaters. Somehow, It just dosent seem to "Fit" Even though it has a floating surface lure bouyancy, they have that "Soft" Body, so I keep them apart.

What about you guys? Thanks for any answers!

  • Do you guys think this will work?

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/68644874@N05/80954434...

So heres the story incase you opened the pic first and are thinking o_O

I just was so bored... So sick of not being able to fish, I had to do SOMTHING to do with fishing.

So I went to a store, got a quarter and sticked it in one of those little slot machines with toys in them. Out came it toy it was one of those little goopi slap and stick on the wall toys. So... I went home took out a 4/0 gamakatsu Round bend offset worm hook and rigged it texas style.

I sippose it could work becuase it might imitate an eel or small snake. Its very stretchy so I don't think it will break easy. I also notced that since the tail is so thin and soft it will literally "Dance" In the water. I think a light 1/16 or 1/8 oz texas rig, or even a split shot rig could do fine! Assuming that the fish gets all it in their mouth not just bite the tail, and I can get a good hookset..

Do you think it could work? Could I actually catch somthing on a cheapo 25 cent toy?? Be honest about it I don't mind! Thanks guys!

  • What do you use for teminal tackle storage?

Skip to the last paragraph for the actual Q... I'll this from now on so you can skip my unessesary rants, if you read past "actual Q" ... You don't hate me yet, that's good!

For my soft bag I use Plano, 1061 (The little 3 pack that has 1 single compartment box, 1 4 fixed compartment box, and one 6 compartment box) Very small and fits nearly anywhere for my octopus hooks. Plano 3455 For Worm hooks and another forJig-headss. And the waterproof 3500, one for my drop shot weights, bullet weights, screw in bullet weights and egg sinkers. Then another for Split shots, nail weights, sinker stops, toothpicks (Which I keep in a small bag from an arts and crafts store if not they slip into another slot) Tube rattles, beads, swivels, brass carolina tickers", and other more specific things

I use these becausee they fit well among both my hard and soft tackle systems

So what do you store your terminal tackle in? Do you keep them in original bags, or separatete it into boxes along your tackle box?

    Thanks guys!

  • For curiosity's sake: When were the first straight tail plastic worms made?

Who were they made by, and how effective really... Were they, especially just the first runs.

I would make this a much larger rant... However I wanted to spare you the agony. The title says It... I guess " duct tapes mouth"

    Thanks guys!

  • Would plano do custom tackle trays if you payed extra and told them exactly what you needed?

Some features (Like waterproof, or slim sized boxes) Don't come in certain sizes. like the 3455. Just in it's regular form. I would need a waterproof version of the 3455, I keep my worm hooks in one and another all my weighted hooks (Jigheads, shakey heads, tube heads, things like that...)

I'd also need waterproof slim 3600's and 3700's... Which would also have to be "Infinite divider" type... (Yeah... Idon't get me either)

Reason being is each of the 3 types have something I need. Waterproof keeps water out of the hooks and metal parts of lures. "Infinite" divider type allows me to store more with less. And slim can fit better in certain parts of tackle boxes and can double the space.

Would plano make boxes for me to fit specific to what I want? for fishing? (Like what I said aboveP?O)

    Thanks guys!

  • What rigs do you use: Salmon eggs, and dough baits?

I need to learn rigs for these two types of baits... I don't know many more rigs than what I know for soft plastics, and I'm allmost sure the rigs between the two don't mix very well (Like trying to texas rig a live worm instead of a plastic one..)

So if you can list the rigs you use for these two types of baits, and what the rigs consist of (Example being a a drop shot rig consisting of a leader of 3"-2ft a round of "Finnese' drop shot weight, octopus hook, and usually a SP-bait below 5 inches. rigging style being nose hooked)

Things like that you know? in detail...

    Thanks guys!

  • What are Good salmon egg brands?

What are a good brand of salmon eggs?

I know power-bait makes some good trout dough, but I'd like to try salmon eggs for trout. What's a good brand (And specific variation if any) for most basic purposes?

Also, I don't do much fishing with bait. And I don't do live or dead baits. What are some basic rigging methods for a salmon egg? And if you could, some more complex methods for dough baits than just a slip bobber and an octopus hook. Some specific materials I would need for such rigs would also be helpfull (Such as weights, leaders, hook type)

    Thanks guys!

Yes... I know I sound stupid so you don't have to point it out. When It comes to bait I'm an amature, all I've ever known to some point of depth is lures.

  • What do you guys think about the flambeau max satchel?

Now that I have a hard bait wire bait & jig/spoon box tackle box, and a bag for all my plastics, I'd like a smaller something for quick trips... This seems great becuase in the main top/lid compartment I can store all the hard baits I need (Top. shallow/mid, and deep/bottom) Hard lures. Then in one side compartment I can put in jigs, chatterbaits, and inline spinners. On the other side compartment, all 3 types of spoon. In the Bulk storage, tools, small spinner box (Maybe it can fit) And some plastics and rigs for them.

  • What tackle box('s) or bag('s) Do you carry/own?

Skip to the last 2 paragraphs to get to the Q directly

I became curious to know... what do other people carry? What are their reasons? Obviously not everyone thinks the same when it comes to carrying their gear and sometimes certain situations require an improved (more specifically tailored bag or box) so say somone fishes saltwater... I would guess waterproof utility trays would be usefull as for your lures not to erode or rust.

I carry the bag I do (And the box I'm going to receive soon) For a few reasons. I need a fair amount of room without having 5 tackle boxes or bags... Carries alot with less space, and has a place for everything (Organized)

My tackle bag has quite a fair amount of room, and even I can literally carry everything I need with me for plastics. Not a million different compartments I'll never use. Seperated tool storage and scent storage as well as a specific place for the scale. A pouch for soft plastic bags, so insteead of cluttering my boxes with a bunch of different size baits, keep the basic (Normal) Size baits in the boxes and a decent enough color variation and assortment. Then a few bags of different sizes of the same thing (Like carrying the super fluke jr, and the larger sized brush hog)

So what do you guys carry, and what are your specific reasons for having chosen those bags or boxes?

    Thanks guys!
