What do you guys think about the flambeau max satchel?
Now that I have a hard bait wire bait & jig/spoon box tackle box, and a bag for all my plastics, I'd like a smaller something for quick trips... This seems great becuase in the main top/lid compartment I can store all the hard baits I need (Top. shallow/mid, and deep/bottom) Hard lures. Then in one side compartment I can put in jigs, chatterbaits, and inline spinners. On the other side compartment, all 3 types of spoon. In the Bulk storage, tools, small spinner box (Maybe it can fit) And some plastics and rigs for them.
Just to keep a little base of everything.
So has anyone used this puppy before? Are they durable? I heard satchel types can break at the hinges sometimes. As well as having the problem of flopping all your tackle everywhere being opened the wrong place accadentaly. So is it a good idea? is it good material, and does it function well. It seems organized enough. I just need personal use opinions. Thanks guys!
O_o) Well that was abit rude... To be quite frank, what is a satchel? From what I see, this box is kinda like a briefcase only for tackle... Can you suggest something specific for quick trips, or stuff I can't lug 2 boxes too?

Ooh... Get what you mean. However, this dosent seem to really be a satchel. It looks more like a breif-case (And it's hard) and has a carry handle not strap. So from what I saw, it's not really a "Satchel" Satchel know what I mean? here take a look

Actually, Andrew is correct, (he just expressed his opinion......ugh.... inappropriately).
Hardshell tackle boxes (IMHO) aren't the best way to hold ANY tackle, much less used as a "quick bag" for shorter trips. I think bags and binders are better for all (Bass fishing) tackle storage- with binders being perfect for a quick bag.
#1. Here's a good example of an excellent binder- http://www.cabelas.com/product/Fishing/Tackle-Stor...
Hope this helps?

Bruce...just so you can keep some manliness please dont buy a satchel.
Just a simple school bag will be way more handy. Buy some storage containers for whatever you need and youll be much happier.
Edit: Ya a satchel is a man purse...haha... Ok ya thats pretty "manly" that looks fine. Again though I am way more supportive of tacklebags for quick trips. By quick trips you mean like a hour? Tacklebags are just much easier to carry and transport.
