need help with Reye's Syndrome question?

what is Reye's Syndrome and it is the side effect of taking Reye's medication.

Rapid development of severe neurological symptoms, including lethargy, confusion, seizures, and coma, make Reye's syndrome a life-threatening emergency."

    Treatment

    chemicals and fluids to correct the blood chemistry and supply nutrients – for example, glucose (sugar)

    diuretics (makeyou pee) – medication to help rid the body of excess fluid and reduce swelling in the brain.

    Ammonia detoxicants – medication that reduces the level of ammonia (a toxic chemical produced by the body) in order to prevent it damaging the body

    Ammonia detoxicant - benzeneacetic acid, sodium salt.

    Side effects - vomiting, hyperglycemia (high blood sugar), hypokalemia (potassium depletion), seizures, mental impairment.

    anti-emetic medication – anti-sickness medication to help prevent or reduce vomit.ing.
