    y = 1 - 2x²

    y(-1) = 1 - 2(-1)² = 1 - 2 = -1

    This means you use the point (-1, -1).

    y' = -4x

    y'(-1) = -4(-1) = 4

    This means the slope of the tangent line is 4.

    Using the point-slope formula,

    y - (-1) = 4(x - (-1))

    y + 1 = 4(x + 1)

    y = 4x + 3
