How do i make my exhaust louder for around $200?

I drive a 2010 VW Jetta SE, and the exhaust sounds pretty bad. I have a few hundred dollars laying around and would be willing to spend it on modifying my exhaust, but the thing is i don't know where to start. i know that the stock dual exhaust tips are welded on to the back muffler but that's about it. how does one go about installing a new muffler and how much would it take to get a shop to do it?

whats the loudest i can make it without it sounding too ricey?

Dude just google magnum flow exhaust their the best brand for that u might find a decent price for u for the body shop work it really depends on the shop but it shouldn't cost too much, here's a tip tho making ur car sound louder won't make it faster if u want it Los make sure its not too obnoxious loud as well. Cars back in the 70, 60s were loud because of the Big block v8 engine not of the exhaust kids don't understand at all

The correct name is magna flow exhaust. But there are many other exhaust systems available that are more for an import car like yours. Most muffler shops will know the difference and can help you decide what is best for the sound you are looking for.
