What is wrong with my wrist?

It started about 4 hours ago. My inner wrist hurts and when i touch my arm, I get a pain on the left side on my arm that goes to the middle of my forearm. (wrist and arm pain on the same arm) When I rub my wrist, it feels like its raw. My wrist had no marks on it and I dont think I hurt it. I haven't done anything, so I have no idea what could have hurt it if I had hurt it, but then again, I don't know so maybe a may have hurt it.

Please any helpful advice is appreciated.

I'm just scared right now after looking up things in the Internet of what it could be.

Please and Thank You

The muscles in your wrist have tightened up to press into the nerves going through it to cause pains in the wrist or sends them into the hand or back up the arm. While some will call it carpal tunnel I am giving you the cause of that as well as the solution to getting rid of the pain that doesn't include surgery. The muscles in your wrist have to be freed up to release the pressure off the nerves and here's how to free them up:

    Wrist:

With your hand resting in front of you with the palm up press into the area behind the wrist, where they take your pulse and hold a good firm pressure on it. After 30 seconds slowly bend your wrist open as far as you can, release the pressure, but hold your wrist open for another 30 seconds.

For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

If it's carpal tunnel, you can test for it yourself.

Use your right index finger and middle finger, and slowly tap your left wrist palm side up in the middle area. Then, slowly start tapping upward towards your forearm. If you feel pain or tinging it very possible it's carpal tunnel.

You may have compression of the median nerve, aka carpel tunnel syndrome. Try to keep the wrist flexed (bent forward slightly) - crepe bandaging the wrist might help. Also Ibuprofen gel applied to the front of your wrist might ease it.
