How do babies sleep in your culture?

Hi, I recently was given an assignment to research babies sleeping practices of different cultures, but I'm having a very difficult time finding out how cultures prefer their babies to sleep; so my question is how do babies sleep in your culture?

For example the few cultures i did find: Most Americans prefer that their babies sleep individually in their own rooms. While sleeping arrangements in Japanese are quite different; for example, every adult in a household in Japan sleeps alone with a child in separate rooms. A mother will sleep with the a kid, the father will sleep with a kid, and even the grandma will sleep with a kid. Etc..

Thank you!
