  • Car accident: Person at fault has no car insurance, what can I do?

    Hello!

Recently, I was involved in a car accident where the other driver was at fault (carelessly ran a red light) and didn't have insurance; my question is what do I do now. My car got totaled, but my insurance is going to pay me the whole value it's worth, but minus a deductible. Also, my sister and I are going to a back doctor because of some minor pains we started getting... People are telling me that I should do a "small claims" against the guy, but what exactly do I sue him for? And how?

More info: He had no insurance, and the car wasn't his. My insurance doesn't cover health or rentals I believe. I'm located in California.

Any help will be truly appreciated! Thank you!

  • Bought Black Ops 2 and got a blank CD, what can I do?

Hi, I recently purchased the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 at Walmart, and much to my surprise got a blank CD instead of the game; Also, the Nuketown CD key it's suppose to come with wasn't there. I've argued and complained to Walmart endlessly but supposedly they can't do anything. I've talk to the whole chain of command... and nothing! My next move is to call the game company, but they are currently closed. What do you suggest I do? Or what can I do?

  • How do babies sleep in your culture?

Hi, I recently was given an assignment to research babies sleeping practices of different cultures, but I'm having a very difficult time finding out how cultures prefer their babies to sleep; so my question is how do babies sleep in your culture?

For example the few cultures i did find: Most Americans prefer that their babies sleep individually in their own rooms. While sleeping arrangements in Japanese are quite different; for example, every adult in a household in Japan sleeps alone with a child in separate rooms. A mother will sleep with the a kid, the father will sleep with a kid, and even the grandma will sleep with a kid. Etc..

    Thank you!

  • My dog has worms, what should I do?

Hi, my dog recently did his business, but this time he had worms in his stool... Since it's 12 am where I am from, I can't take him to the vet till tomorrow like around two when I come from school; So my question is what can I do so he could "sustain" himself till then? Another question I have is it going to be really pricy? Because he recently got really sick because of pravo, and we had to pay like 1000 dollars in bills...

He's a bolognese and about 6 months old.

    Thanks!

  • Nasal congestion! Help!?

Hello, I've been having this nasal congestion problem for some time now (six months), and I was wondering if you guys knew any good sprays, pills, or something that will alleviate my symptoms.

I have tried a bunch of sprays that made my congestion go away, but after long-term use it gave me a "rebound congestion." At the moment I'm trying Claritin and it's not doing anything! I tried Allegra but it seems to slightly open my nasal passages and nothing else.

The problem with my nose started about six months ago, where only one nasal passage allowed me to breathe. It is random too because my right nasal passage might be clogged up one hour then it'll switch to the left nasal passage for no reason. I've read that it might be an allergy I have, but I have never had allergies in my life (till now I guess...). I also read that my nasal septum might be deviated, which it is slightly to the left, but would that explain why my congestion switches from passage to passage randomly?

I'm looking for the best over-the-counter medicine because I cant afford a doctor at the moment, haha. If you guys could help me out, I'll really appreciate it. Thanks!

  • Can you help me with grammar punctuation?

Hello! By any chance can anyone help me out because I'm not sure if I did any punctuation errors. I will really appreciate the help. Thanks!

We are born bounded into a society with customary establishments , regulated conducts; discriminatory principles, such as ageism, racism, and sexism; and biased managements, for we are born into a world of closed-minded individuals who are afraid of progression and change; however luckily, there are those few souls who are brave enough to be nonconformists like greasers, hippies, punks, and in this case, homosexuals that want a to be accepted as they are.

I'm trying to use "Super Commas," but I'm not sure if I used it correctly. I'm also not really sure about the word "luckily" right after "however." If you could help me thanks!

  • Can you help me with a Meth problem?

Hello! I'm having this problem that I need help in; maybe you guys can help me. This problem has been going on for a while (6 years), my uncle who has been living with us since he was a teenager is a Meth user/addict, and its been destroying our family with fights between my parents and my uncle. We have tried helping, but he's always refusing the help or just lies that he isn't doing any drugs. My parents are in the brink of divorcing because of this asshole, but since my mom recently lost a sister, she doesn't want to lose another family member. In truth, even though I hate him when he is high, my uncle is a pretty cool person when he is sober. I don't want to see this person die. Do you guys have any suggestions on helping him kick the habit? I will really appreciate the advice. Thanks!

  • What's psychedelic music?

Hello, I'm sort of confused on what psychedelic music is. Can someone please clarify what I'm suppose to look (hear) for? I think I have a general idea on what it is but I'm not sure. For example, I know that Pink Floyd early sounds were psychedelic but from then on no more (like the Roger Waters era?)?

I'll be very grateful if you help me.

    Thanks!

  • We begin by coveting what we see everyday?

Hello, I recently saw 'The Silence of the Lambs' and the character Hannibal Lector mentions, "We begin by coveting what we see everyday." Does anyone know what this means?

I have some speculations but I'm not completely sure.

    Thanks!

  • Can you review my punctuation?

If my name were a song, it would be "Blackbird," by The Beatles, because when I think about this song, I usually envision an actual blackbird(me) nestled into a tree viewing the sky above its head which is very dark and vastly unknown just waiting and waiting for the right moment to arise. That moment being when it is fully grown and matured and able to fly into the abyss to figure out what wouldn't be considered. Another reason I choose this song as metaphorical symbol for my name is because it always makes me feel like no matter what happens, one can learn to fly again(recover) and get through all the tough times one has gone through and overcome your past.

    Thanks!

  • If your name were a song what would it be and why?

Mine would have be 'Helter Skelter' by the Beatles because most of the time I'm mellow(like their music style) but sometimes I just burst out randomly.

    Cheesy right? haha

This is my intro sentence for an assignment I have, but i'm not sure if its sophisticated enough.

"Once I was optimistic, greeting the mornings as I awoke, confident about my day ahead, enjoying the love that I would get, seeing the beauty of the world, believing in second chances, being happy to be alive, regarding the glass as half full."
