Can you compare the Glock 19 to the Kahr CM9? Please help, first time CCW.?
Hey guys, I've narrowed my first concealed carry weapon down to the Glock 19 and the Kahr CM9. I love both of these firearms, and I've shot them both. The Kahr destroys the glock in the concealability aspect. First person to review both firearms and make a solid recommendation gets my best answer vote!
PS: I'm a very small male, and concealing any type of firearm is hard for me to do!

I don't get the concealability issue. People seem very concerned with it. I don't care if it looks like I might have a gun on me if I bend in a certain way. I have a permit and if anyone wonders, they can keep wondering. l carry in case I need to shoot someone, not because it makes me warm inside.
So a tiny, easy to conceal gun is a waste of time for me. I need to know my hand hits what it needs to hit and I can draw and fire just a tiny bit slower than if I was carrying open.
For what it is worth the CM9 is useless to you. If you are asking here, you are not intimate with concealed carry and shooting people. So odd are, your 6+1 is going to be gone before you even hit the first person to attack you. If you get a G19, you will be able to miss with over 10 rounds and still be ok.
Simply put, do you want something you can hide that is not going to save you if you need it, or something that will more likely save you but might be noticable?

where do u live??? YES IT DOES MATTER>....
@ chris "printing" = jail time loss of cwp and firearm in some states.........so giving that opinion without knowing where the asker lives is BAD advice......
the CM9 is by far much easier to conceal.......and would suggest u go with that if ur having issues with size......
a glock 19 is NOT even the subcompact model the 26 is.......and even that is still MUCH bigger than the CM9
yes the glock is much easier to shoot accurately and has lots more rounds......but from ur details u will probably end up NOT carrying it .....so get the CM9...
** of course there are other options out there.......and i suggest u shoot more firearms before u decide.....keltecs ruges s&ws seecamps....etc......BUT between those 2 with the details u gave would go with the CM9

I carry an XD 9 subcompact. I chose it over the Glack. I like the fit, the trigger, and the grip safety. I have never shot the Kahr so I have no opinion on it.

Honestly for a small person where its harder to conceal I recommend the M&P Shield either 9mm or .40S&W its the easiest 9mm or .40S&W to conceal and is proven to be the most reliable its smaller than all XD pistols and it also comes with 2 different size clips and they are both fairly priced.

Get the one you like.
Also, Chris, in some states if the gun prints you aren't considered carrying concealed and can be arrested.
