The second interview, refer below for experiences shared by people who interviewed and were hired, is to review policies and procedures, uniforms, schedule of orientation, find out more about your personality, interests etc. Good Luck!!

Interview Details –I walked in on a Saturday and asked if I could follow up on my online application. The manager said he was too busy to talk to me then but told me he would talk to me on Monday. I came in on Monday and the interview completely consisted of a review of the job and the type of a manager he was. He said if he was goiong to consider me for a a second interview he would call either the next day or the day after that. He called the next day for a second interview that day. I went in and he told me to schedule an appointment for orientation.

Negotiation Details –There was no negotiation. This was my first job.

Crew at McDonald's Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Great Falls, MT – Reviewed 5 days ago New

Interview Details –The hiring process involves two interviews. The first is with one of the salary managers, and the second is with the store manager, or even the franchise manager. I was lucky enough to be able to sit down with the latter and sell myself, which proved to be invaluable later on. The first interview involves paperwork for a background check, and performing the pre-employment assessment if you haven't done so already. You exchange some words and they'll ask you a few questions.

(Also, dress nice for BOTH interviews. It may just be McDonald's, but really, it shows a lot of initiative.)

The second interview is a lot more personal. They ask about your work ethic, previous work experience, performance in high school/college... the basics. They get to know you as a person and how you'll fit into the team they have at whichever given store you applied to.

Interview Question –How would you handle a situation in which food has just recently expired (the max. allotted time in the cabinet has passed), and you're currently low-staffed and fairly busy?

No it means the first manager recommended that you should be hired, now they are having a second manager check to see if he/she agrees.

Yes pretty much the second Interview is to tell you your hired, fill out the necessary information, and tell you when you start..
