Precalculus is a introductory course for Calculus. It have both Algebra and portion of Calculus concepts. Would it look good for college? I don't see how. Is it hard? Depend on the person.

Usually Analytic Geometry, some Physics Math Problems.
As rigorous in Trig as you can handle.
Your algebra should be maxed as far as possible first.
Good Teachers make a VAST difference and generally are under 10% at your current studies level.
Be thankful for them. They are the true experts, and what good is the difficult obscure guy, except for the ignorant to think he's brainy. Take again from One Better, more caring rather than giving up.
Some students, people, are Math Heads, some aren't.
You cannot forget courses done previously as many do getting through liberal arts.
You have to WORK the problems! More than what is assigned is better!
No goofing around, yes indeed.
Pre-Calc often ends with beginning of 1st Calc course.
Some spiffy schools go further, the exception includes relatively few public high schools in USA.

Pre-calculus normally focuses on four things:
1. Algebra - so that its on par for calculus
2. Linear Approximations - to understand for later use
3. Trigonometry - To understand for later use
4. Minimizing/Maximizing functions - to understand for later use.
Does it look good for college? I guess. Is it good to take it in high school - yes. If you plan on majoring in a math or science you will need the calculus series.
There is no reason NOT to major in math/science (or both).
Many of us consider pre-calculus rather easy I am sure. It is just like other math courses. If you study and truly understand, it will make calculus a lot easier, because they basically give a taste of whats to come in later calculus courses.
