This is the way I see it:

God has always been, and always will be.

    Now here's why.

People say that God has been around "since the beginning of time", but the reality (assuming God exists) is that God *created* time as well as the universe it governs. So to put it correctly, he has been around *before* time, and before our universe and any of it's properties.

As humans, we were created on such a small scale of existence that we are bound to an incredibly minute level of understanding of how things work in the first place, so we cannot fathom how it "feels" to exists outside of time because we have always been bound to it and have never been capable of breaking free of said boundaries.

Also, humans only have the power to take matter that already exists and alter it to make various products and structures. We cannot create matter, and we cannot create life. Growing up, I watched my father work in his genetics lab and clone DNA everyday. But he didn't create the DNA, he had to take DNA that already existed in order to make a copy. As humans, we are stuck in mortality as well as physical bodies that, in the time-space plane of existence we are confined in, are born and eventually die. And since we are born into this existence and level of understanding of things, it is impossible to understand anything about the spiritual realm except what God has revealed to us through his Word. Another thing we are doomed to is having only the ability to understand how we can alter matter that already exists, not create it or even fathom where it came from. God has the power to create anything from nothing, but we simply can't understand how.

So to put it simply, God is a spiritual being who has powers and abilities that make the most accomplished human look like a bacterium squiggling it's way around a petri-dish. For all we know, bacteria cells might just be wondering how in the hell their squishy, nutritious environment (the petri-dish) came into existence and how they were created. If they were capable of having these kinds of thoughts somehow, they'd probably have a ton of religions, too. They'd come up with all kinds of theories similar to ours. For instance "the big splat", in which the squishy and nutritious material just popped into being (in other words, the bacteria would make their own big bang theory), and they'd probably all wonder how anything could exist outside of their squishy realm of petri-dish ingredients. Their environment is too big for them to understand it, and they are incapable of understanding how anything could exists outside it, let alone create it. But the reality is they were put there by a human scientist after he slopped some crap into a small plastic cup and left them there overnight to reproduce.

So in essence, we are as clueless as the poor bacteria, living in our "nutritious and squishy petri-dish" called The Universe. None of us can understand how things were created, and we're incapable of understanding the truth that God has always been and has the power to create matter. But fortunately for us, the "scientist" who put us here was kind enough to come down to our little dish and show himself.

His name was Jesus, and the key to finding him is asking him to reveal himself to you. You'd be surprised how he responds back.

That is a non-question. The universe has a starting point and thus has a source. That source either has intelligence (God) or does not (no God). Both of these possibilities, however, lead to something existing outside of time and eternally, thus not needing a creator.

In other words, when the atheist physicists say that the omniverse exists outside of time and has no source, you can't then turn around and ask what the source of God is. You can't accept the atheists answer of existing outside of time and then bash the theist answer of existing outside of time.

Now as for the assumption of intelligence, this is an assumption that explains the organized complexity of the universe. Another assumption has been the multiverse or omniverse, that is given an infinite number of observations, the unlikely becomes likely.

There have been other explanations, but all either do not truly answer the question or add unnecessary assumptions. If you have another one to be considered, please do share.

Now which is a bigger assumption? A. The source having intelligence? or B. The source creating an infinite amount of other universes?

Now which has more supporting evidence?

You can say no god, god or I don't know.

This is what truly annoys me. I don't care how you answer the questions. If you insist on insulting someone for saying no god, god or I don't know, however, you are only showing that you are too stupid to get to this logic conclusion of questions. You cannot truly bash the other side of the debate if you understand this logic as it leads to having no real evidence that you have picked correctly, except maybe personal evidence. You can say I don't know and know you are correct, but insulting someone when you don't know is just silly.

No one created God because God is the Creator of everything. When you translate the Hebrew name for God, it means the One who always was and always will be. In Isaiah 43:10 God said, “Before me no God was formed, nor will there be one after me.” In Isaiah 44:6 God said “I am the first and the last. Apart from me there is no God.” Between Isaiah 43 and Isaiah 50 that thought is repeated 7 times.  Our God is called The Eternal One for that reason.  He had no beginning and will have no end.

Deuteronomy 22:27 says that God is eternal. In Micah 5:2 we’re told about the origins of the Messiah. The literal Hebrew reads that they were from “the days of eternity”. The same Hebrew word us used in both passages.

Rabbinical scholars state that the particular way in which the very first letter of the Bible was formed in ancient manuscripts indicates that it’s impossible to know exactly what went on before Genesis 1:1. The Bible neither explains nor justifies God’s presence but from the very beginning man’s understanding has been that He’s an eternal being, without beginning or end.

No god is self created. Most gods are born. Some came to earth to evangelise, some reside fortunately governing the scale down worlds and helping mankind by way of their suffering. Most who got here to earth helped exhibit a way to mankind a acquire births in better worlds, like heaven or even be born outside the universe. All gods have a lifespan and will likely be born into larger or slash worlds. If he exhaust all his merits, the god will likely be born into reduce worlds. People were created by creator deities. There is not any such thing as one god. There are many gods and a few human beings are feasible to emerge as a god sooner or later.

In regards to the maths, science and the doctrine of schools (Subjective empirical-ism), we could ask why brilliantly minded scientists are trying to figure out how B comes from A instead of what and where is A.

It's obvious A has always been and always will be.

    Revelation 22:13

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Something can not derive from nothing, so something has always been.

We believe we are born then die and that the planets have to come from somewhere, this gives rise to logic ~ "How does B come A" - Objectivism, subjectivism and formatory thinking. (Spiritual sleep)

The hindus refer to this as Maya (The malevolent illusion)

    Thessalonians Chapter 4:

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Don't you think that IF there was a "God", that part of the definition of being "God" would be to always have existed? Don't you think that a "real" God would not have a creator?

I know you are trolling, and want someone to say: man created god

If you are right that "man created god", you will never find out when you are dead.

If you are wrong, you will know when you are physically and humanly dead.

No one did, according to christianity, God has always been and will always be. He created us with the inability to understand eternity and that's why we must always ask the two questions: how did it begin? and How did it end? Luckily God never began, nor will he ever end, he IS. In fact, in the Bible he said "I Am" and it offended those who heard him say it because back in those times to say "I am" was like saying "I am all there is, ever was, and will be." it encompasses everything and therefore very offensive to those who considered it blasphemy. Sorry about the super long comment, you probably didn't need all that.

If you ask a theist "Who created god?", get ready for some sophistry. God is the exception to the rule that everything must have a creator. Apparently, this creator-less God created everything else including existence itself.

God made time so He isnt in time. Without time theres no cause and effect so God just is. God is the eternal causer. He is the alpha and omega the beginning and end

That's one question no one - not even a genius can answer.

God Always Has Been - Always Is and Always Will Be!!

My pastor used to say to try and figure out how God came to be would blow our mind.

We all have questions - I just believe by faith God is our Heavenly Father, Creator of the Universe
