Does anyone know what song this is?

It's a song that we sing at our Church, it's very beautiful and I've been looking and searching high and low for it. I don't really know the name, but here are the lyrics "Let it rain, let it rain, Let the power of you're holy spirit rain.Let it pour, On my soul, I am thirsty Lord so let it rain. it doesn't have any other lyrics, at least not that I'm aware of, but if anyone knows this song please let me know!

Update:

I know this might belong in the Music category, but since its a Christian song I thought it would be more suited here.

The song is called "Let it rain". It is a well known song that Bob Fitts did and Geron Davis and the Kindred Spirits.

SAD or ROCK? Okay.. I'm no longer definite on that. If through unhappy you imply.... sluggish and form of emo... Evanescence has tons of those, as good as rock, equivalent to: Hello Like You My Immortal Your Star Missing All That I'm Living For Sweet Sacrifice Weight of the World Going Under The Veronicas: All I Have Heavily Broken In Another Life Someone Wake Me Up My Chemical Romance has tons of well rock songs, and so does Switchfoot.

Hi Patricia (love your name -it's mine too lol)

I've never heard the song you are inquiring about - I did a search haven't found any thing. I'll try later. Maybe you can ask the choir director at church - let me know I'd like to hear it. I've heard different songs about "rain" just not that one.

    Be Blessed!

EDIT: I tried again - cannot find the song that matches your lyrics :(
