03 Mustang 3.8L chugging?

After I bought this car, I did a tune up ( coil pack, plugs, wires and air filter. Changed the trans oil and filter. It still "chugs" when crusing. Can't find the reason. HELP !

Update:

Sorry, spelled cruising wrong. Anyway, I did change the fuel fillter. You feel it chugging, its worse just before it downshifts out of overdrive, but I still feel it in 3rd too

Did it chug before the tune up? You may have installed a couple of wires wrong.

If it chugged even before the tune up then it might be the O2 sensors, a weak fuel pump, a weak ignition module, or any number of other things. You need to put a scanner on it to see what codes it's probably throwing off. Any large chain auto parts store will sell it and some will scan it for free..

What kind of mpg is chugging? Change the fuel filter next.
