I need an E-mail strategy for home where I can use outlook easily?

I had verizon as a internet provider, had a verizon e-mail address, now i'm getting rid of them

what can I easily use as an e-mail, independent of my phone, or cable company etc. so I don't have to change it if I change services

Must be easily hooked up to Outlook at home, I would like to have little hassle using it concerning advertisements, etc.

Yahoo works well in mail readers and just google for the settings. If you tick the box in settings "Do not delete from the server" you will have a backup of emails.

Rember that outlook is a security hazard. I advise all my clients to use web mail interfaces and yahoo has no adverts (only on the sigin on page and they do not effect the emails.
