How can i find out what 77 / 2,2 is?

Do you know how to do basic long division? If so, once you write it down, move the decimal place in 2.2 over one, along with the decimal place in 77. Now the problem should be 770/22. It should look something like this:

Then, see how many times 22 fits into 77.

Next, you drop down the zero and take your new number, 110, and divide that by 22. Be sure you line up how many times 22 fits into your number in the correct spot (i.e. 3 goes over the 2nd 7).

When you need to go past the zero, add a decimal place to your original number (770), add a zero after it (because it will still be the same number, 770=770.0) and drop the zero down to whatever you had left after dividing 110/22.

Continue doing this until you either have a perfect fit or have at least three decimal places so you can round to two decimal places.
