The most likely answer is low sugar. Chihuahuas need to be fed 2-3 times a day with snacks in between. If you have honey or karo syrup, rub a drop into the gums and see if this helps. This is an unhealthy chihuahua. Healthy chihauhuas DO NOT do this, as some think they do. Any shaking chi is either unhealthy or is not being fed properly.
