Why do my windows fog!?
I have a 2000 dodge neon and the damn windows always fog up on me. It's about 55-60 degrees here in new jersey every morning and when I leave for work my windows are all fogged up so I turn the defrosted on and turn the heat up. This dosnt help at all so then I turn it on cold and it makes the fog go away but I want the heat on in the morning so even if I have it coming out of the vents it fogs up the windows. I can't remember this happening with any of my other vehicles.

I suspect your A/C system is either marginal or not working. When you turn on defog, the a/c compressor also runs, and this dry air helps defog the windows. No a/c=longer defog time.
I have noticed in MY car that if I have used the A/C all day the previous day, then use defrost (defog) in the morning, there is still a lot of residual moisture coming out the vents. It clears up pretty quickly though.

The glass is cold just turn on the defrost in your car.

it may as simple as the window needs to be cleaned, especially if you smoke, etc.
fog / water droplets stick to dirt and smoke particles
