I am looking to purchas a car in the near future and I would like to keep it for many years to come so I need something reliable. I have narrowed it down the a 2002-2005 Subaru forester. Turbo or non turbo and a 1998-2001 jeep cherokee sport. I know the 4.0 in the jeep is bullet proof but what about the trans? Any other major problems with them? Not sure about the Subaru but I know they are well know. For being reliable. I expect to keep up on maintenance and have to make small repairs now and then so I guess I am really just looking for Altus most reliable drive train.

I'm buying a kegerator soon and was wondering how much more electricity it would use if it was outside in 85 degree weather vs being inside at 70 degrees.

I came across a page on Facebook the other day that I liked but I can't find it anymore. How do I find this page on the Facebook app on my I phone? I tried going to find friends and searching but nothing came up. I didn't like the page yet either.

I just turned the air on in my house for the first time a few days ago and realized that the upstairs was a few degrees warmer then down stairs. I know this is pretty normal because heat rises and what not but I started to mess with the air vents and when I took them out of the floor there was a lot more air coming through. I didn't really test anything out yet but if more air is coming out with the vent off then in thinking it will cool the upstairs a lot better. Also the vent is so bulky underneath because if the fine you can adjust to direct the air. Could i cut all that bulk off and just be left with the cover?

Ever since I was little my grandmother would buy me a couple shares of stock from different companies. A few years ago she sent me paper work for me to get the stock transferred into my name but I never did and lost the papers. My grabdmother ended up passing away last year also so im not sure what to do. Is there any way for me to figure out what stock I have and if I can still get it put into my name

Iv been looking to get a dirtbike but I do t want to spend a arm and a leg for one. I was wondering what happined to all the dirtbikes and quads that are stollen then confenscated by the police. Do they try to find the original owner? Or do they have a stock like of them just sitting somewhere? Are they for sale?

There is a stomach virus going around the country that everyone is catching and I'm wondering if I could catch it twice. Everyone in my family has had the virus already but my cousin who is just getting over it is coming over tonight. Is it a bad idea?

My girlfriend and I just bought a washer from a hair salon last week and it smells like well water or somethin funky. The clothes don't smell bad so to say but they have a certain cent to them. We use fabric softener and dryer sheets when we wash and dry. Is there a way to clean my washer or make the clothes smell better?

Long story short I chipped a nice piece off the corner of my front tooth. It's not even a 1/4 of my tooth but still a nice size. We t to the dentist and they are saying it defiantly needs a cap on it and they can't just fill it in with a bond. Also said it could need a route canal depending if the nerve was damaged but it will take 6 weeks to tell. They did a temporary bonding in it and it looks great and the tooth dosnt Hurt at all. If they were to do a permanate bonding would it hold? Do I really need a cap put on? It was the inside corner of my right front tooth where it meets the other tooth.

Just got a new house and it has all newer windows except one and that room is noticeably colder then all the others. What's the best was to insulate it? Could I possibly take the screen out and replace it with another sliding glass piece?

I am laying down linoleum tile in my bathroom but the room isn't square so when It's time to tile next to the walls it's not straight and its hard to cut the tile to the shape it needs to be.

Check engine light just came on saying the cat is bad and I found a brand new full stock exhaust for a 1998 neon for $100. Will this exhaust fit on my 2000 neon?

My girlfriend, daughter and I just bought our first and I was wondering how much our electric would be. It is a 2 story town house. 2 bed one and half bath with a loft upstairs, eat in kitchen and decent size Livingroom. Everything is electric. The heat is a heat pump. We wake up at 6:00 Andrade the house at 7 so that's a hour we are home in the morning Monday-Friday. We get home at 5, get the baby in bed by 730 and we are aleep by 11 so that's 6 hours were awake at night. Weekends we usually find something to do so we aren't home that much. We would probly do about 3 loads of laundry a week. We are pretty good at turning the lights off she. We are not in the room, we live in jersey and its starting to get cold at night. About 45 at night and 60-70 during the day.

Is there any way you can bypass the water meter at a house and not get charged for water? How does the water company even know how much you use? I have a meter in my laundry room and it looks like you could easily disconnect the meter but I'm sure that's not how the determin how much water you use

I have a 2000 dodge neon and the damn windows always fog up on me. It's about 55-60 degrees here in new jersey every morning and when I leave for work my windows are all fogged up so I turn the defrosted on and turn the heat up. This dosnt help at all so then I turn it on cold and it makes the fog go away but I want the heat on in the morning so even if I have it coming out of the vents it fogs up the windows. I can't remember this happening with any of my other vehicles.

I am having some problems with my 18 month old daughter. Every morning when we get her ready for the day she freaks out! But other then that she is a angel. She goes to bed at 730 every night and wakes up at 6:00 on the dot every morning. We give her a bottle, change her diaper and she lays in bed with us till about 630. At 630 we get ourself ready while she watches tv and wakes up and the. We get her dressed. Problem is when we get her dressed she has a fit! I'm almost possitive it's because she hasn't had enough time to wake up but we give her as much time as we can. On the weekends when we Are off she lays around till about 7 and sometimes even goes back to sleep then she is a happy baby so I think she just needs more time. We have thought about putting her to bed earlier but by the time we pick her up from the baby sitters and get home we only have 2 and a half hours to spend with her befor it's bed time. Any advice on this?

So my girlfriend, daughter and I are about to buy our first house and I'm scared! I bring home about $2240 a month and when I add up all the bills that I will be paying for I have about 500 left for the month so $125 a week that dosnt go towards bills. That seems fine and dandy to me on paper because I don't feel like I spend 125 a week on useless stuff but my money is always gone! Is there a app or program that can help me budget my money or any advice you guys can give me?

Last night at 2:06 in the morning my 18 month old daughter woke up crying. My girlfriend, our daughter and I all sleep in the same room so she got up to see if she opulent find her binky which is usually the case. She gave her her binky and she kept on crying like something was really bothering her. We brought her into bed with us and finally got her to calm down. The 3 of us had been laying in bed for about a half hour and i was almost in a deep sleep when our daughter started laughing historically haha. It was pretty funny but weird at the same time. After a few good laught my girlfriend goes there's something tickling her but it deffinatly was t either of us. I did t say anything because I was pretty scared after she said that some just started to tickle the baby and we were laughing. After i stopped the baby sat up and was looking all around the room smiling like she was looking for someone or something. A little while after that we put her back in her crib and she fell asleep and I didn't think much of it untill this morning when I got to work and my girlfriend text me. She said she was so scared last night and I asked about what. She said when the baby started to laugh that she could feel something pulling the baby's leg. That's creeped me out a bit. It the baby was very happy haha so I'm not sure what was going on. The only thing Incan really think of is that both of our moms passed away when we were younger and whenever out daughter looks around the room and smiles of laughs we always say its just one of our moms stoppin by. Could there have really been something in the room with us?

I recently bought a 2000 dodge neon and imam habit a few problems with it. First off car has 113000 miles on it and is a automatic. Picked it up for $1600 about a month ago just to comute. When I got it it ran pretty good except it sounded like there was a small exhaust leak. Other then that everything else was fine. So anyway about 2 weeks ago I changed the oil in it. I put 4.5 qts of synthetic 5w30 in and that's when the motor started to vibrate a lot. It only does it when I come to a stop and it will go away if I sit there long enough. Any idea what it could b?

I work for a company where we cut holes into the sides of piles. For instance we may cut a 3 inch hole into the side of a 4 inch pipe. Im wondering if there is a equation I could use to determin how far I need to drill into a pipe to fully cut out a certain size hole.
