How much will my electric bill be?
My girlfriend, daughter and I just bought our first and I was wondering how much our electric would be. It is a 2 story town house. 2 bed one and half bath with a loft upstairs, eat in kitchen and decent size Livingroom. Everything is electric. The heat is a heat pump. We wake up at 6:00 Andrade the house at 7 so that's a hour we are home in the morning Monday-Friday. We get home at 5, get the baby in bed by 730 and we are aleep by 11 so that's 6 hours were awake at night. Weekends we usually find something to do so we aren't home that much. We would probly do about 3 loads of laundry a week. We are pretty good at turning the lights off she. We are not in the room, we live in jersey and its starting to get cold at night. About 45 at night and 60-70 during the day.

Electric rates run different for each provider and area served. Having a heat pump will definitely help on costs. My father has a 2 bedroom 2 bath mobile all electric and with a heat pump. He is in southern California and used his a/c quite a bit last month and his bill was only about $45.00. But you have more people in your home. Also your rates will run different during different months. Often you can contact your electric company for average costs for past occupants. Maybe that would give you some idea. But if it were me what I would do is plan for the worst case scenario and be glad for the savings if it is less. Hope that helps. :)

Your best bet is to contact the seller or their agent they'll have the info. If not, the electric company should be willing to give you an average value from the previous owner.

though it was a funny question, you can guess your bill by previously paid amount in another home.
