Space management for small apartment?

My fiance, my 11 month old daughter, and myself will be moving into a 750sq. ft. apartments in a week (I know this may not be small for some of you, but my smallest apartment thus far was ~950sq ft. before having a child). I was wondering if there were any tips or tricks that any of you knew of or could direct me to as far as efficiently managing household space.

I have been attempting some research in the matter, and so far have come up a little short in the ideas and explanation of.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and of course, 10pts. to the top contributor.

Thanks again.

Update:

P.S. This is a two room apartment. Attached is a link to the floorplan.

Update 2:

My main concern is with organization and maximizing space. We DO have a lot of stuff that we will likely need to sell/store/donate. BUT, for essentials, as well as those things we just can't seem to rid ourselves of, and all those pesky room wasting baby items, I would very much like to make my home both as functional and aesthetically pleasing as possible.

Definitely look for books on efficient uses of space. My apartment (shared with GF) is only 650sf...thats NYC for you.

Go vertical and nautical. Boats have long been using space efficiently, look for some of their tricks (storage in/under seating is a good one).

For clothes/linens/etc, roll instead of fold.

When buying stuff for your kitchen, but things (pots, pans, plates, etc) that can stack easily.

Do you have anything specific you wanted some help with?
