Is there a person per bedroom regulation in Davison, MI?
I have searched for some time to find out if there are any restrictions regarding a number of persons per bedroom in a rental.
I have yet to find one in city, district(genesee county), or state regulations. Is there a site that may specify something of this nature?
Side note - if there are no such regulations, could a landlord create such a regulation within their complex?
3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate8 years agoHigh yield savings account?
I am currently looking to invest in a high yield savings account as an alternative income that I would then reintroduce into my HYS along with a monthly deposit. I, however, am having a difficult time finding one of interest and I'm not quite sure on the highest % I am able to receive without any type of fees.
As a secondary question, how would I then file these earnings in my taxes?
3 AnswersPersonal Finance8 years agoUsing a 1 bed apartment as a 2bed - how to arrange living room?
My fiance, my 2-year-old and myself are currently living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We were looking to possibly move into a 1 bedroom apartment and split the living room into a bedroom/living area as we don't often have guests. I know that I've seen this done, but I am unable to find the right keywords to locate the layouts for this situation.
We are currently living on a single low income and looking to become more frugal and fully utilize our living space.
Thanks in advance, and links are encouraged!
4 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling8 years agoCan a family of 3 survive on just over 1300 a month?
I, as of recently, have lost 95% of my hours at my part-time secondary job. My primary workplace however, is currently paying me $10.50/hr. I am now curious if myself, along with my fiance and 2-year-old daughter could survive off of the estimated 1300/month.
Currently, expenses that I can track (or estimate) are as follows:
Rent 540 (2bd 1b apt)
Electric 100-120 summers 50-80 winter
Gas 0 (included in rent)
Water 0 (also included in rent)
Car insurance 115
Groceries 300-350+
Fuel 120+
Toiletries 40+
5 AnswersPersonal Finance8 years agoSpace management for small apartment?
My fiance, my 11 month old daughter, and myself will be moving into a 750sq. ft. apartments in a week (I know this may not be small for some of you, but my smallest apartment thus far was ~950sq ft. before having a child). I was wondering if there were any tips or tricks that any of you knew of or could direct me to as far as efficiently managing household space.
I have been attempting some research in the matter, and so far have come up a little short in the ideas and explanation of.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and of course, 10pts. to the top contributor.
Thanks again.
1 AnswerRenting & Real Estate9 years ago2003 Saturn Ion front struts?
I am not the most knowledgeable as far as vehicles go, but I was looking at a 2003 Saturn Ion that seemed to have the tops of the front struts epoxied over. Other than that, the car is in excellent condition. I was curious as to what the reasoning could be behind this, and if it would be a big factor in the purchase or if it was just a reinforcement or minor thing.
I found a picture of a similar case, with the epoxied strut only being on the driver side.

1 AnswerGMC9 years agoHow to reword business skills for resume?
I am currently a lower end manager at a fast food restaurant. I have been with them for ~2 years and in a managerial position for ~8 months.
I'm not entirely sure on how to word the money handling, customer service & managerial tasks that are required on a day to day basis into my current resume. This is my first legitimate job that I can put on my resume, and other than that I only have my high school education, so I really need for my strengths and skills to stick out.
Sorry for any unneeded details and thanks in advance for the advice.

1 AnswerWords & Wordplay9 years agoDetailed diagram of where coolant sensor is located?
I am probably one of the least car savvy people out there, but I am working on that as I can. I am attempting to replace the coolant sensor in my 1997 Oldsmobile LSS, but I just cannot find that thing anywhere.
I have found a few more advanced diagrams, but none that show me the exact location.
Like I said, I AM NOT car savvy, I telling me oh, it's right next to this piece (which I also probably couldn't locate) won't help me.
Thanks in advance.
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago'97 Oldsmobile LSS coolant sensor?
I believe that my Oldsmobile LSS needs the coolant sensor replaced. Now, I've already purchased the replacement, but I have no idea where the current sensor is, and I can't find a legible online manual or diagram anywhere.
I do not have a manual.
