Does it strike anyone odd that these questions are under Cars and Transport?

Aviation has History, Currency, Games and Cyber, Does it seem odd any thing remotely associated with lighter than air fits into Cars and Transport?

Update:

Aviation in pure form is Commercial or Military. It has history, development and conflict. The questions In this section don't even present well as wannabes. The category has gone to the pits!

Aircraft are considered a form of transport and while I don't consider the constant questions about FSX,RC toys, or prices of airline tickets have enough to do w/ real aircraft to be posted in this topic (since that is what this topic is supposed to be about). I don't really understand what you're trying to say

    No, it's perfectly logical.

Why would aviation deserve it's own category over boats, or trains, or hovercraft? In fact, I bet a hell of a lot more people discuss boats on here than aviation. Why don't we all get categories?

But then...there will be so many categories that navigating them will be a nightmare. We will have to lump similar ones together or people will be lost. Let's lump all the transportation related ones into one category...Let's call it "Transportation", but since the vast majority of people looking here are after car topics, let's call it "Cars and Transportation" to make it easier to navigate. POW!

EDIT: Everything has history, development and conflict...This is a free Q&A website, if you want to talk to folks more your caliber, there are a few pay aviation forums out there where only the dedicated can chat without all these curious future aviation enthusiasts getting in your way.

No because plane are mostly used for some sort of transportation.

If you think about it what other category could they put it under except for maybe travel.

No, just as it doesn't strike me odd that you asked this question, as I have no idea what you are talking about.
