How much money do you get from US airways if they lose your bag?

They lost my bag for less than 10 days...how much should they compensate me? Has anyone else had this experience?

Your bag was delayed for 10 days, but you eventually got all your items back, correct? In that case, only if there were items you *had* to replace (such as prescription medication, essential clothing) then they will compensate you for the costs -- as long as you kept the receipts.

    You have your bag back.

You may get compensation for things you had to buy while waiting for your bag for example a change of clothes or toiletry items. Submit your receipts.

This does not mean you are compensated for an unending shopping adventure.

This is not a lottery prize package.

they probably wont give you anything. Maybe a travel voucher to go and fly US airways again but that will be it since you recieved your items back

You only get compensation if they cannot locate it. If they find it and return it, they don't pay you anything.
