I have a prediction...?

And it's pretty much a worst case scenario for fellow Crows fans. But I'm going to call it, and we'll see how it pans out in the coming weeks.

I'm predicting that Hawthorn will beat the Crows today, and pretty convincingly. I'm predicting that Kurt Tippett will not play his best football. And i'm predicting that in a few weeks, Kurt Tippett will sign with either Brisbane, or the Gold Coast. And then I'm predicting, that there will be a huge show of anger from Crows fans, directed not only at Kurt Tippett, but mostly at Brenton Sanderson - because he let Kurt play for us, even though he was going to sign with another team, and he (Sanderson) should've been playing forwards like Josh Jenkins, and Shaun McKernan instead, to look to the future of the club.

Please for the love of god, I am hoping that I am very wrong, but I've got this weird feeling.

Anyway, since this is a site where we have to ask questions, what do you think about this prediction? Have you got any predictions for what will happen with some teams after the Grand Final?

I do hope your prediction is wrong about the Crows, but as for Tippett, he's gone, no doubt about that.

I believe he has made up his mind 5 weeks ago...since then he has done nothing for the Crows. Useless hack...I'm bitter about Tippett because he is not playing to his full abilty ......not because he wants to leave the Crows. Tippett right now..is over-rated, I'd rather have Jenkins in the team any day.

When Tippett announces his intentions to leave...it would be a great relief to a lot of Crows fans...imo.

Sanderson would get some flak, but all would be forgotten within a week.

Source(s): Edit @ Quandary...you are absolutely right. I can't dissagree. 1 thing though...play your best 22, yep, I agree...but the last few weeks, Tippett's form has been dismal, a real shocker. In the SANFL...Jenkins has been firing....right now, I would have Jenkins in front of Tippett. This could be the difference between winning and losing today.

I can't imagine why Crows fans could criticise the coach for putting a guy as good as Tippett on the field. That's like criticising Bomber Thompson for playing Ablett in 2010 (my criticism is that he left Mackie out because Mackie called him on his dedication levels - or so be the rumour)

BK - players have bad runs and his mind is probably distracted with deciding something big. I'd play him every day of the week though.

    Play your best 22 always!!

Oh to answer - Crows can be proud of a good year regardless. Cloke will go to Carlton, Tippett to Brisbane, Goddard and Rivers to Geelong, Melbourne will announce they are in dire straits financially, Carlton will clean 5 more players off their list. Richmond will be pretty stable along with Sydney and Hawthorn. Essendon's review will say there was nothing wrong!

remember that all teams in the finals play against each other as equals. i have a very strong belief that the crows are every chance to beat the hawks and I'm tipping them to win. with Kurt Tippett, he's been at the crows for a while and is still considering his options. everyone one thought Boak was going to leave but ended up staying. I don't see a reason why he should go....well besides homesickness lol but the Crows are doing really well in accordance to re-building (yes, i still believe they are in their rebuilding stage and making it to the prelims is just.....WOW) and where the club is going, that should be more than enough to convince him to stay. :)

That would be a very ugly situation indeed. But without knowing much about the South Australian football public I would say that the public would cut Sanderson some slack due to the remarkable improvement he has instilled into the playing group.

Raised eyebrows yes, but a civil war no.

Look - Tippo is an unknown quantity on the field... he is either on or OFF... he's been OFF for the last 2 finals.. but thankfully we got Tex and others to cover... But if we are ANY chance of beating the Hawks then BOTH have to be ON! and kicking STRAIGHT.

Who gives a **** about where Tippo goes after... he can piss of to some shitty team if he wants money instead of finals foot and potential premiership success soon.

No one is gonna be pissed with Sando because:

    1. He got us into the Prelim

    2. He's fresh face (so we wanna give him more chances)

    3. We got depth to cover for Tippo

    4. Shaun Mckernan is ****... he's had 3 years to develop but he;s slow sluggish and lacks skill. He needs more time.

    5. But fair call on Jenkins... Though you still gotta go with Tippo cos when he's switched on no one can out mark him. and Besides we need Tippo as a 2nd ruckman.

BTW - Luke Hodge is OUT... Advantage PRIDE!

As long as he fires in red, maroon and blue there are no issues for me!!
