Any free 3d sculpting programs that can be rigged?
I have Blender, but I can't model in it too well. I tried Sculptris, but it works with triangle instead of quads so it apparently lacks edge flow.

Try Maya, they have a trial version. It's also more used in the industry.

The most normal 3d modelling and animation software would be Maya or 3d Studio Max. But recall, being an knowledgeable with any program won't get you the job. Sure, it'll help, but inventive thinking and a excellent portfolio is how to go.

No wonder I can't get 3D programs to behave, I don't understand several words in this question and thus not the question.
"rigged"?
"triangle"? I thought all node and line programs used triangles.
"quads"?
"edge flow"? http://athey.deviantart.com/art/Understanding-Edge...
